This role is based in Ludvika, Sweden.

How you'll make an impact

• Shape and guide holistic product development strategies, including thoughtful roadmaps and timelines for assigned product areas.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, and sales) to support smooth, well-coordinated, and timely product delivery.
• Explore market insights, competitive landscapes, and customer input to uncover opportunities and translate needs into clear product requirements.
• Oversee product development resources, budgets, and schedules with a focus on balance, transparency, and effective use of company assets.
• Define and follow up on relevant KPIs for product development, supporting continuous learning and improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners to introduce new technologies and thoughtfully evolve product features.
• Support compliance with industry standards, regulations, and quality expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
• Share product development progress, insights, and recommendations with senior leadership in a clear and engaging way.
• Support, coach, and develop team members, encouraging curiosity, collaboration, and a culture of shared success.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in product development or project management, including experience in a guiding or leadership role.
• Experience bringing new products to market, ideally within technology or industrial environments.
• Good understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) and agile ways of working.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage and support diverse teams.
• Ability to work with complex information, make well-considered decisions, and approach challenges thoughtfully.
• Experience managing budgets, resources, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with Hitachi's core business areas (e.g. IT, energy, industry, mobility, smart life) is considered a plus.
