The Opportunity
Principal Embedded C/C++ Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing software that runs on embedded systems with constrained resources such as microcontrollers, real-time processors, and custom hardware platforms. The role combines strong C/C++ expertise with deep understanding of hardware, real-time constraints, low-level debugging, and system integration.
How you'll make impact
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded software using modern C/C++
- Develop firmware for microcontrollers, embedded Linux systems, or RTOS-based platforms.
- Perform debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG/SWD tools, and software debuggers
- Write robust, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Integrate with real-time operating systems or bare-metal environments.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to understand schematics, interfaces, and constraints.
Your background
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, memory models, and low-level programming concepts
