Multimedia Design Specialist

As a Design Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing the highest design quality and brand consistency into your work. You have an aptitude and experience working with a global brand, in a high-paced international environment, a digital-first approach and proven capabilities to manage multiple stakeholders along with the passion for being part of a company that is powering good for a sustainable energy future, complete the profile of our ideal candidate.

How you'll make an impact:

• End-to-end conception and execution of design needs for sales enablement team.
• Elevate the Hitachi Energy Grid Automation portfolio by creating designs for cutting-edge content (white papers, brochures, flyers, roll-up banners, videos, technical illustrations, infographics, gifs, etc.).
• Lead the creative briefing process and design quality standards to ensure all final assets communicate effectively.
• Communicate complex business and engineering processes in simple, effective visual language.
• Advise and propose formats that best fit the goals of every asset.
• Proactively manage internal businesses, functional and market stakeholder requests and supporting execution partners/stakeholders.
• Understanding and managing design-related requests in the content development life cycle context.
• Stay current on new design trends, asset libraries, branding and associated platforms.
• Lead and maintain content library in designated platform.
• Act as the main liaison with the Grid Automations Content team to ensure compliance and adherence to brand standards.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• A degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Multimedia Design, UX/UI, or equivalent.
• Should have 3-5 years of experience working as part of a creative team (agency or in-house).
• Graphics software skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, etc.
• Video software skills: Adobe After effects, Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proven design expertise, ideally in B2B context and across brand touchpoints (portfolio).
• Creative consultancy and advisory skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and international work experience with global brands (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management skills, managing multiple projects while ensuring timely execution.
• Ability to identify key information and apply the same concept to multiple content formats.
• Motivated, self-starter, knows how to keep calm under pressure.
• Consultative and advisory skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; other languages are a plus.
