How you will make an impact
- Lead the development of design specifications and models, ensuring they meet all relevant standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough design reviews and verifications, implementing modifications to elevate project quality.
- Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring design milestones are achieved and projects are delivered on schedule.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and seek opportunities for design innovations.
- Engage with customers to capture and incorporate their feedback into design solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, selecting optimal materials and components.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation that supports design processes and facilitates knowledge sharing.
- Identify and implement continuous design improvements based on test results and industry best practices, enhancing quality and efficiency.
Your background
- Degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Pro-active attitude, self-motivated and with a strong sense of ownership.
- Open to change, feedback and continuous improvement.
- English fluency is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively in the local language of your chosen location.
