Material Management Lead

The opportunity:We are hiring a Material Management Lead to drive end-to-end material planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, and material flow activities within our manufacturing operations. In this leadership role, you will ensure uninterrupted production, optimize inventory performance, improve working capital, and support customer fulfillment through effective supply chain strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence, supply continuity, and business growth.

How you will make an impact:

• You will develop and execute material management strategies aligned with business and global supply chain objectives to ensure operational efficiency and sustainable growth.
• You will lead material planning, inventory replenishment, and supplier coordination to maintain uninterrupted material availability and production continuity.
• You will monitor demand forecasts, production plans, and supply risks to proactively mitigate shortages and disruptions.
• You will drive inventory optimization through effective planning, stock control, cycle counting, and inventory health management initiatives.
• You will oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, kitting, and material issuance while ensuring safe and efficient material handling.
• You will collaborate closely with Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality, suppliers, and global supply chain teams to ensure supply continuity and operational excellence.
• You will lead continuous improvement programs focused on on-time delivery, lead time reduction, forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and productivity enhancement.
• You will ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, inventory controls, EHS standards, and audit processes to maintain operational integrity.

Your background:

• You hold Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Material Management, Planning, Inventory Control, or Logistics within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory management, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to develop teams, influence stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
