HUB Americas Material Management Leader

The Opportunity

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence? Hitachi Energy is looking for a Hub Material Management Leader to drive end-to-end supply chain performance across our factory and warehouse locations in the Americas. In this high-impact role, you'll lead planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management, ensuring seamless material flow and alignment with business goals. You'll be the catalyst for standardization, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration-empowering teams and transforming processes to deliver exceptional results.

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines. For our team, helping customers all over the world to ensure a successful transition to a de-carbonized economy, by improving the efficiency and resilience of the electrical grid, saving resources and reducing carbon emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose. • Lead and harmonize planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory functions across the region.
• Own warehouse performance and ensure service excellence to internal customers.
• Standardize systems, tools, and processes across all sites.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and Lean practices.
• Collaborate with global teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Define and monitor KPIs, governance, and reporting structures.
• Develop and mentor high-performing teams across multiple locations.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• 10-20 years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, or production environments.
• Deep expertise in warehouse and material management, with strong SAP/EWM knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering; Lean and Six Sigma certification required.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Americas.
