How You'll Make an Impact
- Optimal sizing and design of E-STATCOM technology.
- Dynamic performance studies for FACTS technologies.
- Combined design and performance investigation for FACTS technologies and AC chopper solution.
- System performance impact analysis for offshore wind farm connections.
- Application of FACTS solutions for AI datacenter stabilization.
- Modeling, control design, and stability analysis of grid-forming STATCOMs and E-STATCOMs.
- Application of AI/ML methods to FACTS control and design.
- Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Your Background
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Sweden within the areas of power system, power electronics, control engineering, and/or renewable energies.
- Proven motivation, problem solving ability, and a structured approach to completing tasks.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, and PSCAD environments is a plus.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, for clear and effective communication.
