Manufacturing Production Planning & Control Entry Professional

The opportunity:

Responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing the demand and supply plan into a master production schedule to ensure efficient operations, timely delivery, and alignment with customer demands.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule, establish key performance indicators of master plan accuracy, ensure the interaction of a firm's functional managers, and track and maintain the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.
• You will assemble master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business plan, the shipment plan, the inventory plan, and the production plan, identify current planned level of demand and create efficient production plans to meet the identified customer demand, calculate production lead times, manage load levelling and bottleneck scheduling and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for more accurate scheduling, analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting.
• You will work with customer service to provide appropriate delivery dates, material planners to convert the Supply Plan into a master production schedule, schedule supply based on the product mix and provide accurate commitment dates to customer service team across multiple product lines, provide input to finance on operating plans for the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, concerning incoming volume and capacity, attend daily Gemba/Daily Management walk to address production related issues.
• You will manage MRP (Materials Resource Planning) exception messages on a daily basis, work with local execution, Local P&F manager and Hub P&F manager to resolve issues, maintain planning parameters in ERP and production planning systems, maintain and update S&OP and short-term planning processes, lead the S&OP process between sales and operations to ensure forecast and backlog demands are updated, provide feedback regarding the feasibility of the plan, engage in capacity management during sales and operations planning, master scheduling, materials requirements planning, and production activity control, lead the production meeting to ensure all stakeholders are up-to-date with current production status and plan.
• You will ensure safe working procedures and practices are followed at all times including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective Equipment; attendance at required health, safety and environment training; report injury, incidents, hazards and near miss events, model safe work behaviors in all aspects of work and actively identify hazards and risk controls.
• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• You hold a bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5 years supply (SCM) or demand planning in an engineering manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Demonstrated Negotiation skills.
• Exceptional communication (written and verbal).
