Manufacturing Production Manager

The Opportunity

As a Manufacturing Production Manager at HITACHI ENERGY BULGARIA EOOD, you will lead and optimize production operations to ensure efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective manufacturing of our energy products.

How you'll make an impact:

• Oversee all aspects of the production process, from raw material to finished goods, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards;
• Manage, motivate, and develop a team of production supervisors and operators, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance;
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles, driving efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization;
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, quality metrics, and cost targets, taking corrective actions as needed;
• Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and problem resolution;
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards;
• Develop and manage the production budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation;
• Identify and implement new technologies and manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality;
• Conduct regular performance reviews for team members, providing feedback and opportunities for professional growth.

Your background:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production) or a related technical field. Master's degree is a plus;
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in the energy or heavy industry sector;
• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing production teams;
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools;
• Excellent understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control;
• Demonstrated ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and implement effective solutions;
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Bulgarian is an advantage.
