How you'll make an impact

  • You will design and implementation, verification, and commissioning of the MACH control system to meet our customer's requirements.
  • You will be responsible for design, time schedule, budget, and quality of deliverables during the entire project execution process for control scope.
  • You will have extensive contact with other engineering groups, the project manager, and externally to our customer during factory acceptance and commissioning phase.
  • You should be willing to ready for travel to sites to support commissioning of MACH system.
  • You will design & testing of Control logics and functions.
  • You will responsible for Hardware Integration, interfacing with RTDS, Factory Acceptance Test, Customer meetings, Site testing, Test records documentation.
  • You will be developing Control and Protection Functions / Solutions for future STATCOM technologies.
  • You will be supporting projects in resolving the issues related to Control and Protection Functions.
  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Power Systems and Power Electronics.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Design and testing of PI/PID or similar control algorithms.
  • Experience in simulation using Matlab or Real Time Simulators (RTDS etc.).
  • Experience in HMI (Intouch etc.) and/or SQL B application.
  • Preferably basic knowledge on IEEE / IEC standards.
  • Preferably understanding application of Power Electronics in FACTS (SVC, STATCOM).
  • Good Knowledge on power system - signal processing, active and reactive power concepts, and Knowledge on power electronic devices will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent English speaker, good communication skills.
