Logistic Specialist

The opportunity:

The Logistics Specialist will work with different stake holders in coordinating various shipping requirements of GIS Projects and other logistic support activates related to GIS products.

How you'll make an impact:

• Coordinate timely and accurate shipments, ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents.
• Identify and fix shipping errors.
• Prepare bills and invoices, receive orders and add to inventory.
• Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services. Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively.
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures, supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs.
• Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements, keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline.
• You should have minimum 5 years experience as logistics co-ordinator for production factory.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
