The opportunity
Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products, is renowned worldwide as a specialist in power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for global after-sales support of High Voltage Products, aiming to deliver excellent solutions for customers and society.
The unit handles extensions, retrofits, and replacements of own and third-party substations, including training, installation and commissioning, scheduled maintenance, added-value services, and troubleshooting. This role is part of an international team that supports each other and grows together.
Join the team as Project Manager Service. This challenging position involves managing the entire end-to-end process of projects and confidently representing company interests toward customers. The ideal candidate brings a technical background, project management experience, and motivation to plan, manage, and control project activities with a hands-on approach and international exposure.

How you'll make an impact
- Responsible for successful execution of diverse projects from handover by Sales through design, production, and completion of site works.
- Coordinate project teams across required disciplines, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks and work packages according to the project plan.
- Define and manage all project milestones, ensuring on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery of products; proactively report deviations and initiate corrective actions.
- Act as primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction through open and proactive communication.
- Manage contracts commercially, including scope changes, while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and margin and reduce project risks.
- Share knowledge, success stories, and lessons learned with the team; identify, initiate, and lead continuous improvement actions.
Your background
- Technical education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering combined with commercial training.
- First professional experience in customer project management or equivalent roles; PM certification is an advantage.
- Positive mindset and constructive approach when facing complex or urgent challenges.
- Business fluency in English; additional languages such as German, Spanish, or French are a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with SAP and product knowledge in GIS is desirable.
