IT Cost Reporting Analyst

The opportunity

Join our IT Controlling team as an IT Cost Reporting Analyst and drive financial transparency across a growing, complex IT landscape. You'll analyze and report IT costs, support budget forecasting, and enable data-driven decisions that improve resource allocation, strengthen financial governance, and align IT spend with business strategy.

How you will make an impact

• Develop and maintain regular IT cost and budget reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze IT spend across the IT organization.
• Track variances between actual spend and budget/forecast; investigate and explain discrepancies.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Procurement teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with data-driven insights.
• Provide cost modeling and scenario analysis to support strategic IT decisions.
• Monitor vendor invoices and contracts to ensure compliance with financial agreements.
• Automate and optimize reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or other.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and dashboards on IT financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and audit requirements.

Your background

• Min BA in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
• Experience in financial analysis, controlling or financial reporting working for a multinational company is preferred. Very good understanding of financial processes
• Familiarity with the USGAAP and SOX
• Proficiency in MS Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI
• Detail-oriented, with strong numerical and problem-solving skills
• Integrity and transparency in combination with a dedicated, careful, and independent way of working as a strong team player
• Fluency in verbal English is required, excellent English-writing skills are essential as well
• Experience in cooperation with senior stakeholders as well as more junior team members globally
