Hub Operations - Grid Automation
The Opportunity
As Hub Operations for Grid Automation, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a local manufacturing and project execution hub in a highly dynamic environment. This role has end-to-end accountability across Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality & HSE, Operational Excellence, Logistics, as well as administrative and financial management of the site.
You will operate in a context of multiple parallel projects, evolving organizational structures, and strong regional interaction, ensuring operational continuity, efficiency, and alignment with Group objectives.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead hub operations in a fast-paced environment with multiple small and mid-size projects running in parallel
- Drive operational performance through KPIs related to productivity, efficiency, safety, quality, and delivery
- Actively partner with Engineering, PMO, Procurement, Quality, and HSE to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution
- Ensure effective implementation of engineering solutions and new technologies, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to avoid delays, rework, or additional costs
- Lead people management activities, including team engagement, development, and succession planning, in a growing and transforming organization
- Manage internal and external stakeholders (Engineering, PMO, clients, contractors, service teams), ensuring strong communication and alignment
- Oversee logistics and site operations, ensuring compliance with schedules, contractual commitments, and internal processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and applicable internal and external regulations
- Support regional initiatives and interact with global stakeholders as part of a broader LATAM structure
- Be available for short, occasional business travel
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree required (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related fields preferred)
- Solid experience in operations, project-driven environments, or manufacturing
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to operate hands-on, influence stakeholders, and drive results
- Advanced English required; Spanish is a strong plus
- Experience in energy, automation, industrial, or infrastructure environments is highly desirable
