In this strategic role, you will ensure an effective S&OP process that aligns sales forecasts, project backlog, and resource capacity across all regions. Beyond traditional S&OP responsibilities, you will design and implement a global workload management process, lead the adoption of a resource management tool, and drive weekly reviews to provide consolidated visibility on resource allocation and workload balance. The position is based in Västerås, Sweden or Krakow, Poland.

How you'll make an impact

  • Maintain and optimize the global S&OP process to enable data-driven decisions on workforce sizing and capacity planning.
  • Define and implement a standardized workload management process for projects, ensuring global adoption.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering Management to ensure accurate backlog and forecast data.
  • Deliver short-term (3 weeks) and long-term (18 months) visibility on resource allocation and workload balance.
  • Organize and lead recurring meetings, including bi-weekly resource allocation prioritization and monthly S&OP reviews.
  • Escalate unresolved gaps between resource supply and demand for prioritization and follow up on resolution plans.
  • Define, implement, and monitor KPIs (Utilization Ratio, Forecast Accuracy, Attrition Rate, Underload/Overload Index, Project Staffing Compliance) and provide actionable insights.
  • Act as a change leader, promoting best practices and fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your background

  • Proven experience in global Sales & Operations Planning or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of resource planning and workload management processes.
  • Familiarity with resource management tools and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills in a global matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of energy control systems (SCADA, EMS, DMS) is a strong plus.
  • PMO expertise, including structuring WBS and CBS to map resource plans with tender estimates and execution budgets.
  • Advanced analytical and data visualization capabilities, including KPI design and performance monitoring.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams and cultures, with a focus on digital solutions and process automation.
