Finance Specialist - General Accounting

The opportunity
We invite you to apply for the role of Finance Specialist - General Accounting. In this role, you will support general accounting activities and help ensure accurate financial reporting, including intercompany transactions. You will work in a collaborative, international environment and contribute to reliable finance processes across entities.

Please note that this role is offered on a fixed-term contact for maternity leave cover.

How you'll make an impact

• You perform general accounting activities in line with policies and deadlines.
• You prepare and support the production of financial reports.
• You conduct account and intercompany reconciliations.
• You investigate balance sheet and profit and loss variances.
• You support intercompany reconciliations and follow up on mismatches.
• You coordinate with counterparts across entities and countries.
• You take part in month-end closing activities.
• You prepare and post journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• You support internal control testing and related documentation.
• You identify improvement opportunities and support standardization.

Your background

• You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field, or are studying toward one.
• You have a good understanding of accounting principles.
• You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You have good Microsoft Excel skills.
• You communicate clearly in English, written and spoken.
• You work independently and enjoy teamwork.
• You have strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with general ledger and intercompany processes is an advantage.
