Field Service Engineer

The opportunity

Hitachi Energy Transformer Business Unit in Greater China operates across 55 cities, employs over 1,900 staff, and manages 5 transformer manufacturing plants. More than 90% of its sales come from locally manufactured products. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of Transformers Products, Solutions and Services. Transformers are essential in all electricity-related fields and applications, including power generation, transmission and distribution, oil, chemical and gas, industrial manufacturing, semiconductor and data centers, as well as building and transportation sectors.

How you'll make an impact

1. You will support in on-site service and guidance for component products, and if necessary, provide customers with basic knowledge training on product services.

2. You will comply with on-site safety practices, follow the rules for safety practices and environmental responsibility, and report unsafe practices and behaviors.

3. You need to be positive, honest, serious, responsible, teamwork, share product knowledge and experience with colleagues, and improve their service skills.

4. You will strictly abide by the company's rules and regulations, and unconditionally implement the work arranged by the company.

5. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

1. You hold a bachelor's in electrical or mechanical degree or above.

2. 3+ years of OLTC and bushing related work experience required, preferably in OLTC or bushing testing.

3. Good practical ability and careful work attitude, willing to learn technology, good teamwork and communication skills.

4. Simple English speaking skills, as well as good reading and writing skills.
