Factory Controller

The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Factory Controller to join our production unit in Sevlievo, Bulgaria. This role offers an exciting opportunity within a dynamic, international, and positive work environment.

How you'll make an impact:

• Contribute to monthly closing activities and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with business stakeholders;
• Act as a business partner and ensure that the Manufacturing Managers has sufficient financial information for making business decisions (proactive approach from controlling side);
• Drive the preparation of the Annual Budget;
• Prepare the Full Cost Model in your local unit and support the Transfer Prices calculations;
• Implementation of analysis required by the Operating Unit Manager and the Operating Unit Controller (e.g. expense based income statement, volume analysis, margin analysis, customer analysis, absorption analysis, etc.);
• Participate, support and if required drive initiatives in your local unit (e.g. HCCO, SCM savings, etc.);
• Ensure that unit financial statements are reported in line with Hitachi Energy deadlines including sufficient explanations of actual financial performance;
• Application of new reports and tools which are available under SAP4/Hana;
• Preparation of monthly financial review package in line with Hub requirements and on time;
• Cost monitoring in relation to Budget, Forecast, and actuals from the previous year, with the definition of efficiency targets for expenditures.Track and report the execution of the CAPEX plan.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Management Engineering;
• 2 - 5 years of experience in Factory Controlling or Accounting;
• Advance in level spoken and written English;
• Strong working knowledge in SAP;
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with independent problem-solving capabilities. Effective communication and presentation skills;
