Engineering and R&D Engagement Lead

The opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Engineering and R&D Engagement and Communication Lead to drive

stakeholder engagement, change management, and content excellence across Engineering, R&D, and TrafoSchool. This role is pivotal in aligning teams, accelerating adoption of new processes, and ensuring that all communications and knowledge assets are coherent, accessible, and impactful.

The position works in close partnership with the Global Communications Team, Engineering BU leadership, and IT platform teams, acting as the central channel owner for engineering governance, process updates, induction experiences, and content promotion.

How you'll make an impact

  • Change Management & Transformation Communications: Drive unified change communications through clear narratives, stakeholder briefings, and consistent assets; align timing with releases, track KPIs, and support continuity and cultural alignment during transformation.


  • Engineering Governance & E2E Process Communications: Communicate BU-level engineering governance and process changes through targeted alerts, documentation, and coordinated publication with process owners and the Communications team.

  • Content Promotion & Editorial Management: Manage the editorial calendar across internal and external channels, segment audiences for tailored messaging, and standardize branded templates to ensure consistent communication.


  • Induction Portal & Onboarding Experience: Own and maintain the Engineering & TrafoSchool induction portal, build tailored onboarding journeys, and coordinate content boundaries with Global Comms and IT.


  • Engineering and Technology BU Portal / Website Contribution: Maintain and update the Engineering BU and Technology portal content in line with governance and branding, ensuring accessibility and coordination with content owners.


  • Collaboration & Governance: Partner with Global Communications and IT to ensure compliant, streamlined content governance across channels, enforcing a "single source of truth" approach and accessibility standards.


  • Metrics & Success Criteria: Track adoption, engagement, and quality metrics across tools, campaigns, and content, using both quantitative KPIs and qualitative feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Your background

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Organizational Development,Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications or change enablement, ideally in technical/industrial environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-channel strategies and produce high-quality content for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English; ability to simplify complex technical topics.
  • Proficiency with enterprise platforms (SharePoint, AEM/Intranet, Viva Engage, MS Teams) and analytics tools.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and coordinating across functions and regions.
  • Strategic and delivery-focused communicator with strong stakeholder management, data-informed decision-making, and a passion for continuous improvement and inclusive culture.
