Electro-Mechanical Engineer
The Opportunity
In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of high-voltage substations and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) projects within Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business. The work spans electro-mechanical and primary/physical design, requiring coordination with electrical, civil, system engineering, and global team members. You will address complex technical challenges involving station layouts, grounding, lightning protection, structural components, and 3D plant models, while working within applicable codes and standards. Through technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, your contributions will help deliver safe, reliable, and well-documented solutions that support long-term grid reliability and power quality improvement.
