Electrical Engineering Experienced Professional
The opportunity
Electrical Engineering researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
How you'll make an impact
- Evaluate customer specifications and prepare up to date, optimized product cost estimates for marketing.
- Perform magnetic core calculations to meet customer requested parameters.
- Support marketing with optimized product configuration and cost for key orders and tenders.
- Create, maintain and update QA plans, components drawings, SOP's and assembly drawings in ERP and PLM database.
- Support manufacturing to resolve assembly issues and product improvement, processes based on feedback.
- Constantly evaluate feedback from marketing and lead small task-based teams for addressing customer requirements.
- Lead implementation and industrialization of new products and processes as required.
- Improve engineering processes to address manufacturing requirement of engineering information accurately and with speed.
- Responsible for magnetic design of instrument transformers to meet customer specifications.
- Prepare and release engineering information to manufacturing as per production plan i.e. BOM, design sheets, test plans and product drawings as per customer order requirement.
- Support order handling to resolve drawing approvals, customer queries with relevant technical information.
- Support supply chain management to resolve suppliers' queries for component manufacturing or design requirements.
- Create, maintain and update relevant component information in MM module of SAP.
- Maintain, review update type test reports and close gaps in type testing.
- Maintain and update product offering and product portfolio in instrument transformers based on new developments and customer requirements.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Candidate should have hold a degree in BE Electrical/ Electronics and Power engineering
- Experience: Minimum of 7 to 10 years' experience working instrument transformer design and engineering or in product engineering of high voltage equipment design and engineering
- Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of Instrument transformers (current and capacitive voltage transformers is preferred), engineering processes, product engineering activities i.e. BOM, assembly drawings etc.
- Tools: Auto- CAD (basic), SAP (MM module), MS tools.
- Soft Skills: Result oriented, Positive and structured Attitude towards work, good Communication skills required.
- Able to work within company rules and guidelines.
- Have high sensitivity towards ensuring product quality and safety.
- Able functions in diverse teams and is results oriented.
- Ensuring resolutions of issues by coordinating with various teams e.g. Product Experts, Production, Sourcing, Quality etc.
- Proactive in towards providing solutions for ease of execution of customer orders.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English & Hindi language is required
