Electrical Design Engineer
The Opportunity

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing both basic and advanced dry-type transformers that meet precise customer and industry specifications. This is a dynamic opportunity to apply state-of-the-art engineering methods, solve complex design challenges, and convert innovative concepts into high-performance products.
You'll actively collaborate with cross-functional teams-including product development, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketing-to create optimized solutions that support our growth in new and existing markets. In partnership with global colleagues, you'll help establish best-practice design standards and tools used across the organization.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Design dry-type transformers aligned with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Apply advanced engineering methods, calculations and design best practices.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to support product and process improvements.
- Develop optimized solutions that support market expansion.
- Document designs, calculations, and test data with accuracy and clarity.
- Support production, supply chain, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Learn and apply internally developed transformer design programs.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- A BS or MS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of dry-type transformer design experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering tools (CAD/AutoCAD, Visio, Adobe, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and travel up to 10%.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and a valid driver's license.
