As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming engineering concepts into precise, high-quality electrical designs that support reliable and safe electrical infrastructure. Working closely with cross-functional project teams, you'll contribute to projects across high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) systems, from initial design through execution.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys technical depth, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to see their designs come to life in real-world applications. How you'll make an impact
- Create detailed technical designs, layouts, and wiring diagrams for HV, MV, and LV electrical systems
- Perform electrical engineering calculations, including load flow analysis, short-circuit calculations, voltage drop, and protection coordination
- Develop and review technical documentation such as bills of materials (BOM), technical specifications, and project reports
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, regulations, and project requirements
- Collaborate with project engineers, planners, and other stakeholders to support project delivery
- Identify and support technical improvements and optimization opportunities
- Provide technical input during project reviews and design milestones
Your background
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Experience in electrical design for HV, MV, and/or LV systems
- Solid understanding of electrical engineering calculations and power system analysis
- Experience preparing technical documentation and design deliverables
- Familiarity with electrical standards and engineering best practices
- Proficiency in technical tools and design software used in electrical engineering
