The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Senior Corporate Real Estate CAPEX Project Manager to drive the successful delivery of large-scale capital expansion and corporate real estate projects across the United States.
In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from early planning and budgeting through construction execution and project closeout.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and business leaders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with strategic business objectives.

How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead project planning, execution strategies, and capital construction initiatives from concept through completion.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Direct and coordinate third-party contractors, consultants, and project partners to meet key milestones.
- Develop annual capital investment plans, cost estimates, and budget forecasts.
- Oversee project documentation, financial tracking, scheduling activities, and risk management plans.
- Secure project approvals and manage funding processes through internal systems and governance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with construction specifications, building codes, health and safety standards, and project closeout requirements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors while serving as a key point of contact for project communications and escalations.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Authorized to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 15+ years of experience managing construction projects, capital programs, or large-scale facility developments.
- Experience delivering new facility construction and facility modification projects within a corporate real estate environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, MS Project or similar scheduling tools, and working knowledge of AutoCAD and construction management software.
- PMP or other project management certification preferred; willingness to travel as required.
