Key Responsibilities
1. Project Closeout Management
- Initiate project closeout activities at approximately 95% physical or POC progress to ensure effective and timely closure.
- Manage the finalization of outstanding project tasks.
- Issue closeout status reports and ensure project closure in SAP.
- Take full ownership of the project during its end stage.
- Prepare and issue the Final Margin Report to management.
2. Financial Closure
- Verify closure of all financial points, including bonds, claims, costs, and invoices.
- Perform financial close, confirming cash inflow/outflow and ensure recovery of bonds.
- Manage Forex and hedging activities.
3. Documentation and Archiving
- Prepare and initiate documentation archiving, ensuring final versions are stored in the archive repository.
- Ensure compliance with document control processes and maintain efficient administration of all project-related documentation.
4. Project Execution (End Stage)
- Take handover from the execution project controller and manage financial aspects such as forecasting, project reviews, bonds, forex, cost tracking, and cost-to-complete analysis.
5. Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the key point of contact for the customer during project closeout, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Lead closeout meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Proven experience as a Project Controller.
- Desirable experience in Project Accounting.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, FICO, SD-PS, and MS Office (advanced Excel skills).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Postgraduate degree (MBA Finance, CA, ICWA preferred).
- Familiarity with project management and financial software.
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar role or project accounting within construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and multitasking ability.
- Ability to interpret contract and financial conditions.
