Co-operative Trainee - Production

The opportunity
Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.

How you'll make an impact

• Fulfill orders related work packages according to production data and instructions given by assigned foremen.
• Perform assembly & repair activities according to the prepared work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, checklists, guidelines and customer order data. • Perform & participate in routine test of GIS assembled units as well as the components and modules according to the prepared work instructions, drawings, checklists, guidelines and customer order data.
• Target the best performance in term of quality, cost and delivery time and self-check of work packages' results, filling out and confirm on assigned checklists and protocols.
• Support of gathering product improvement comment/feedback from the GIS LSC (local Service Center) engineers.
• Adequate handling of factory equipment and tools, maintain equipment's and sustain proper continuous calibration and actively support teamwork, effectively communicate and collaborate with internal customer/ stakeholder/ colleague (assembly, testing, logistics...etc).
• Independently follow the factory rules & guidelines related safety, quality, environment, recycling and housekeeping.
• Maintain safe working environment by following HSE guideline and reporting of any irregularities.
• Contribute actively to continues improvement process and Lean culture and providing feedback, sharing ideas and observations whenever possible.

• Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering. /Mechanical Engineering / Instrument Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Reading and precise understanding of technical drawings and material lists.
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse group Team player.
• Understanding the lean concept & minimizing all related 7 wastes.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
