Controls Design Engineer

How You'll Make an Impact
- Design and evaluate electrical systems, wiring schematics, and logic for transformer controls.
- Prepare technical documentation including specifications, BOMs, panel layouts, and assembly drawings.
- Lead investigations into technical issues and develop actionable solutions.
- Analyze customer requirements and contribute to product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex challenges.
- Drive initiatives that improve operations and elevate customer experience.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in control systems, automation, or transformer technologies.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CREO, and E3; experience with Windchill or PLM software is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with panel design, wiring schematics, and control cabinet troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with SCADA, IEC 61850, and motor drive programming.
- Knowledge of industry standards and engineering best practices.
