The opportunity
For our Business Unit Grid Automation based in Santa Palomba - Rome, with site-time across Italy expected , we are looking for a talent who will be responsible for service and commissioning, ensuring completion of all activities efficiently, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
How you'll make an impact
- You will be working within our Service & Commissioning team, enjoying trouble-shooting, having a can-do attitude to resolve technical issues at sites and focusing on finalize customer acceptance certification.
- Ensure adherence to the commissioning schedule up to the handover, working independently with limited supervision, giving feedbacks to the organization to apply lessons learned process.
- Implement commissioning design changes and provides mark-ups for as built project documentation and in some specific projects being coordinate with the site manager and third party providers.
- Ensure progress reports are produced in accordance with client and satisfactory sign-off is obtained. Safety Observation Tours will be conducted regularly to report and mitigate potential HSE Hazards.
- Execute activities on site related to service and commissioning of HV protection system and Scada/RTU system preparation and testing.
- Independent in Snag list handling and resolution
- Assist in technical discussion with customers during commissioning activities.
- Attending FAT and SAT as required.
Your background
- Bachelor Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Technical Diploma or equivalent qualifications and experience;
- Experience in P&C site commissioning of substations;
- Experience with test devices (Omicron, Isa); Proven Experience on Hitachi Microscada and RTU560 product; Knowledge of PLC automation commissioning; Knowledge of IEC104/101 and 61850 protocol; Knowledge of Networking and network Device;
- Strong communication and problem solving skills;
- Flexibility to travel to client sites as required (80%);
- Fluency in Italian and English.
