Commissioning Engineer
Support commissioning teams for project activities, first in the engineering phase (Bay level and Station level engineering) and later also on-site activities according to future needs in Croatia and Italy.
Execute commissioning activities under the supervision of Senior Commissioning Engineer in all types of projects sizes and complexities, efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements
Main accountabilities will be in Control & Protection IED configuration, Substation Automation System testing and On-Site Commissioning.
How you'll make an impact:
- You support in implementation of commissioning design changes and provision of marks-up as-built project documentation.
- You support continuous improvement of project process/product/ system design via provision of lessons learned feedback.
- You identify variation request to support contract claims.
- You support commissioning team in providing cost effective quality solutions per customer requirement Ensures adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks.
- You follow work plans and cost estimates for work in one's area of responsibility.
- You support in conducting risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning phase and in handling technical risks by following mitigation guidelines. Identifies potential Hazards and reports to Site management.
- You support coordination with external organizations to ensure availability of commissioning equipment, systems or services.
- Use standard processes and procedures to ensure all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy contractual requirements. Reports processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas.

Your background
- Master's degree in electrical engineering;
- At least 2-5 years of experience in Substation Control & Protection Engineering
- Good knowledge of English and Croatian, both written and spoken is must to have.
- Problem solving capability and a great sense of team efforts.
- High sense of responsibility and commitment.
- Effective communicator.
- Willingness to travel
