Job Title: R&D Engineer
Tasks:
You as a Software R&D Engineer would be responsible for developing desktop application products, participate in product requirement workshop to understand the product development requirements and performs software-focused development activities on system/product projects, including design, coding and unit testing of software modules in line with the quality management system. Develops new and adapted design of software modules, system setups and system integration. Maintains the test defect logs captured during the development and testing of the assigned product.
You also need to partner well with a variety of different product stakeholder groups, including management at different levels, business analysts and developer's community. You will also be technically responsible to ensure the mutual consistency and efficient integration of the several subsystems in modular, easy-to-maintain and extendible software that meets the product specification.

Ideally you should hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science / Engineering with 3-6 years of practical experience as Software/Sr. Software Developer in windows application development environment.
Experience in usage of static/ dynamic analysis tools, code coverage tools, events and delegates, developing custom user controls is desirable.
Mature communication with partners and peers with skillful verbal, writing and effective presentation skills.
- Ideally you should hold a Bachelor or master's degree in computer science / Engineering with 3-6 years of practical experience as Technical lead or Sr. Developer in windows application development environment.
- Strong object-oriented programming and design skills
- Experience in Microsoft Technologies like C#, WinForms, WPF, XML, and involved in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with understanding of complete SDLC process and tools is must
- Knowledge of Design patterns, multithreading, events and delegates
- Desirable Knowledge of Power Systems Domain
- Good at Code Analysis, Debug, Unit test, Profiling and other SW development tools
- Tools - Azure DevOps, Enterprise Architect, Visual Studio 2019+
- Knowledge on IEC61850 standards will be an added advantage
- The ability to interact professionally, respectfully, and effectively with peers using sophisticated spoken, written, and formal presentation skills.
