Associate Account Manager & Marketing Coordinator

The Opportunity

The Associate Account Manager & Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Hitachi Energy's growth strategy across Australia by combining account management, sales and marketing support, and other coordination responsibilities. This role is responsible for managing selected customer accounts, supporting strategic sales initiatives, coordinating marketing activities, and contributing to demand generation campaigns that strengthen Hitachi Energy's market presence and customer relationships.

Working closely with the Account Management Lead, Country Communications Manager, and broader business teams, the role will help drive customer engagement, sales excellence, and brand awareness across key target markets.

How you'll make an impact

• Manage and develop designated customer accounts, building strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities across Hitachi Energy's portfolio.
• Develop account plans and customer engagement strategies that support revenue growth, customer retention, and market expansion.
• Collaborate across business units to deliver a coordinated, customer-centric sales approach and maximize customer value.
• Monitor customer priorities, market trends, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and opportunity data within Salesforce to support business performance.
• Support sales excellence initiatives through customer relationship mapping, stakeholder engagement, and market intelligence analysis.
• Coordinate industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and customer engagement activities while managing logistics, communications, and reporting.
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring effective lead capture, qualification, and distribution.
• Assist with digital marketing initiatives, content creation, brand awareness activities, demand generation programs, and marketing performance analysis.

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, Business / Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Graduate to 3 years' experience. Preference in sales support & marketing coordination, but not essential.
• Strong communication skills and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn and develop.
