Area Service Sales Manager

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Area Service Sales Manager to drive service growth and profitability within a defined geographical region for HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY S.A.E. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle for our service offerings, building strong customer relationships, and leading a team to achieve sales targets.

How will you make an impact:

You will develop and execute a comprehensive service sales strategy for the assigned area, aligning with company goals and market dynamics.
You will identify and pursue new service sales opportunities with existing and prospective customers, including maintenance contracts, upgrades, spare parts, and digital solutions.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and positioning HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY S.A.E. as a trusted service partner.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of service sales professionals, ensuring they meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
Prepare and present compelling proposals, conduct negotiations, and close service contracts effectively.
Collaborate closely with the service operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Participate in relevant industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY S.A.E.'s service offerings.

Your Background:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar), Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a service sales management role within the power generation, transmission, or industrial sectors.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of power technology products, systems, and service solutions.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned geographical area.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.
