Area Sales Manager - Gas Insulated Switchgear

As an Area Sales Manager for Gas Insulated Switchgear High Voltage Breakers at Hitachi Energy, you will play a key role in driving business expansion across the North American market. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How you'll make an impact
- Drive sales growth across new and existing customers
- Deliver technical expertise on GIS high voltage breaker solutions
- Lead customer presentations, webinars, and product seminars
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals aligned to customer needs
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning sales strategies
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- Travel to customer sites and support project and specification development
Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development
- Experience in the electrical or power systems industry preferred
- Strong technical knowledge with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel 30% or more
