• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing full-stack engineering organization for mobile apps, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence
• Partner closely with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders to define, align, and execute the product and technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for HERE WeGo across mobile and web
• Drive the evolution of large-scale consumer mobile applications across Android, iOS, and Kotlin Multiplatform, ensuring high-quality user experiences, scalable architecture, operational excellence, and long-term technology sustainability
• Provide strong technical direction and guide architectural decisions, drawing on your own mobile software engineering background while enabling engineers to take ownership of implementation
• Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent while ensuring teams have the skills, resources, processes, and tools required to deliver business outcomes effectively
• Champion engineering best practices, innovation, and technical excellence, contributing to and influencing the broader engineering community across HERE Technologies
• Lead the organization's adoption of AI-enabled engineering and product development practices, empowering teams to leverage emerging technologies responsibly to accelerate innovation, productivity, and customer value.

Who are you?

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Significant software engineering experience, including hands-on experience developing mobile applications.
• Strong technical knowledge of modern mobile software development, including Android and iOS, with experience or understanding of Kotlin Multiplatform
• Experience delivering high-quality consumer-facing mobile and web products at scale
• A strong technical foundation that enables you to guide architecture and engineering decisions while balancing innovation, product needs, maintainability, and operational reliability
• Experience building mobile applications that integrate with vehicles, connected devices, or automotive ecosystems is particularly relevant. (nice-to-have)
• Passion for emerging technologies and a strong understanding of how AI can transform both software development and customer experiences.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
