Purpose

The Head of Sales APAC is responsible for leading and scaling the sales organisation across APAC by driving sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and long-term customer value. This role owns the regional sales strategy and execution across new business, account management, partnerships, and revenue operations.

The Head of Sales APAC combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership. Building high-performing teams, embedding best-practice sales disciplines, and partnering closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Finance to deliver predictable, profitable growth.

This role plays a critical part in shaping the company's regional presence, acting as the voice of the customer in APAC and contributing to global commercial strategy.

What you'll do

Revenue & Growth Leadership

  • Own and deliver APAC revenue targets, including quarterly and annual forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy aligned with broader business and growth objectives.
  • Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities across markets, customer segments, and product lines.
  • Drive consistent sales performance across both mature and developing APAC markets.
Sales Strategy & Go-To-Market Execution
  • Define and implement the APAC go-to-market approach, including segmentation, value propositions, pricing input, and competitive positioning.
  • Establish and embed scalable sales methodologies, processes, and tools to improve win rates, deal quality, and forecast accuracy.
  • Lead complex, high-value deal strategies and support negotiations where required.
  • Ensure the sales organisation is focused on high-impact activities that align with regional priorities.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor your sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Create clear performance expectations, career pathways, and succession plans to support long-term growth.
  • Lead by example by remaining close to customers, deals, and frontline sales activity where needed.
Customer & Market Insight

  • Act as the senior customer advocate for APAC, developing strong executive-level relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics across the region, adapting strategy accordingly.
  • Feed regional insights back into Product, Marketing, and Leadership teams to influence roadmap, messaging, and investment decisions.
Operational Excellence & Revenue Operations
  • Oversee regional revenue operations, including forecasting, territory design, compensation frameworks, deal governance, and CRM adoption.
  • Implement and track clear KPIs and dashboards to provide visibility into pipeline health, productivity, and revenue efficiency.
  • Drive continuous optimisation of sales workflows, tools, and systems to support scale and consistency.
  • Manage the regional sales budget to maximise ROI and operational efficiency.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Finance, and Leadership teams to ensure aligned and effective commercial execution.
  • Contribute to global sales and revenue leadership forums, representing APAC priorities and perspectives.

What you'll bring with you

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, ideally within SaaS, technology, or subscription-based businesses.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets across multiple markets or geographies.
  • Experience building, scaling, and leading sales organisations through periods of growth and change.
  • Strong understanding of modern sales methodologies, revenue operations, and sales technology stacks (CRM, forecasting, analytics).
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Hands-on and authentic leader who can coach at all levels and isn't afraid to get involved when needed.
  • Highly data-driven, with the ability to analyse performance metrics and drive informed decision-making.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies.
  • Excellent communicator with executive presence and strong influencing and negotiation capability.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.
