EMEA Pricing Technology Owner
Job Description
The EMEA Pricing Technology Owner will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for shaping, delivering, and optimizing the EMEA pricing technology ecosystem. This role serves as the bridge between commercial objectives and technical solutions, ensuring that pricing platforms, tools, and analytics capabilities enable accurate, timely, and scalable pricing decisions across multiple countries and business units.
Working closely with EMEA commercial, finance, IT, and analytics teams, the EMEA Pricing Technology Owner will define system requirements, lead implementations, oversee integrations, and ensure best-in-class performance and usability. This role will drive continuous improvement in platform functionality, data quality, and automation while ensuring adaptability to diverse market conditions, customer needs, and regulatory environments. As the central owner of pricing technology, the EMEA Pricing Technology Owner will ensure tools not only support but accelerate the company's pricing strategy globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Technology Ownership and Governance, ensuring alignment between technology capabilities and pricing strategy requirements
- Close collaboration with EMEA Pricing Product Owner, ensuring technology roadmap is well defined
- Integration and Data Management through close collaboration withIT, data, and analytics teams
- Continuous improvement and innovation through translating business pricing strategies into technical requirements and system capabilities.
- Align with internal stakeholders (pricing and marketing team, finance, sales, operations, IT) to ensure the product meets business needs as well as external pricing partners to ensure pricing systems align with pricing strategy.
- Integration and Data Management through close collaboration with IT, data, and analytics teams
- Define rules, logic, and algorithms for price calculation, discountin, promotions, or dynamic pricing
- Manage integrations with data lakehouse, ERP's, CRM's and other systems
- Ensure data quality, price accuracy and alignment across systems.
- Coordinate testing, including functional and UAT and ensure documentation is kept current
- Act as the SME point of contact for pricing system issues
Skills and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information systems, computer science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in pricing technology, commercial systems, or revenue management
