About the role

For our CAMLOG Biotechnologies GmbH site in CH-Basel, we are looking for a

Product Development Engineer (m/f/d) with strong experience in precision mechanical design preferred in the field of dentistry or medical technology.

Essential tasks

• Develop dental implant products, prosthetic components, and surgical instruments in compliance with Design Controls and company development processes.
  
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, clinicians, and customers to define and deliver innovative product solutions.
  
• Support concept development, feasibility assessments, design optimization, and competitive product evaluations.
  
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  
• Perform tolerance analyses and engineering calculations to ensure product performance and manufacturability
  
• Prepare and maintain DHF documentation and associated development records.
  
• Review technical documentation, including device and packaging specifications.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
  
• Support design reviews and risk management activities.
  
• Support verification and validation testing, data analysis, and reporting.
  
• Participate in design transfer and product industrialization activities.
  
• Analyze product feedback and performance data to drive improvements.
  
• Evaluate competitor products and technologies.
  
• Coordinate benchmarking and testing activities to support product development and strategic decisions.
  
• The tasks are to be performed in compliance with the company principles, the company objectives and the defined QM system. Representation in the event of absence is determined on a department-specific and individual basis.
