Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking experienced, Board Certified Gastroenterologists in Central New Jersey to join our growing program and department. Candidates with proven clinical expertise, effective communication and academic prowess are strongly encouraged to apply. Multiple positions are available for excellent candidates.
Clinical Highlights:
? Participate in speciality clinical activities as assigned by the Chief, Section of Gastroenterology.
? Participate in the teaching of medical students and Internal Medicine residents, where applicable.
? Participate in weekend, holiday, and other on-call assignments.
? Gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures, as required and/or needed.
Administrative Highlights:
Serve on Hospital and/or Department Quality, Process Improvement, or Medical Staff Committees as assigned by Chair of Department of Medicine or Chief of Gastroenterology.

Participate in the educational programs, which may from time to time be assigned by the Residency Program Director and Section Chief, Department Chair, or the Dean of the School of Medicine, as applicable.
Adhere to, and participate in Quality Improvement activities, as required.
Opportunity Requirements:
? M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
? Fellowship Training in Gastroenterology
? Board Certified in Gastroenterology
? Have or have the ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License
? Valid DEA, CDS
The Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the Hackensack Meridian Health Network’s Central Region is undergoing an ambitious expansion and restructuring under the new Regional Chair of the Department of Medicine, Professor Adeel Butt, an internationally renowned clinician, educator, and scholar. Mentorship for scholarly activities will be available to interested candidates, and a faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine will be supported by the Chair.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
