Griffith Foods Europe is expanding its R&D team and seeking a talented Processing Food Technologist with expertise in liquid sauces to lead the scale-up and optimization of new sauce developments to factory production. This role ensures that solutions are process-stable, efficient, and aligned with customer and business strategies, while meeting food safety and quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, plan, and run production trials for new sauce developments; provide technical support and complete detailed technical reports.
- Offer technical input on process optimization and efficiencies.
- Provide process support and guidance to sauce developers.
- Manage formulas and maintain factory manufacturing instructions for sauces.
- Optimize formulations and production processes to improve efficiency.
- Support local operations by identifying root causes and implementing process improvements for efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Communicate technical information effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively support Health and Safety standards, rules, and regulations.
What We Are Looking For
- Master / Bachelor's in Food Science or Food Technology or equivalent by proven experience in food industry.
- Significant experience within the food industry, ideally in savory sauces or similar products.
- Experience in lean manufacturing environments is a plus
- Strong understanding of thermal processing, emulsion technology, ingredient functionality, and equipment used in sauce manufacturing.
- Fluent in English and Spanish at a technical level.
- Ability to work in lab and factory environments; willingness to travel within Europe.
