TITLE: Bilingual Account Director - Protein Segment Quebec Region

LOCATION: Remote

COMP RANGE: CAD $110,000 - $130,000 annually

Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

Griffith Foods is hiring a Bilingual Account Director - Protein Segment Quebec Region to be responsible for leading sales growth as outlined in the annual budget and Long-Range Plan. In this high-impact role, this individual is responsible for achieving volume, net sales, and contribution margin goals while driving strategic initiatives, managing key accounts, and developing new product opportunities with existing customers aligned with Griffith Foods' capabilities and values.

As a Bilingual Account Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reports directly to the Segment Director of Sales, Protein Segment, of Griffith Foods Canada on an ongoing basis and communicates all relevant matters pertaining to sales.
  • Executes action plans to maintain core business, identify new business opportunities aligned to our purpose-driven strategy in target segments and categories, and to grow total profitability of business for the assigned business unit / territory.
  • Meet or exceed sales, volume, and profitability targets. Ensure that all activities are aligned with budget expectations and organizational priorities.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Act as a trusted advisor, using a consultative selling approach to create mutual value and long-term partnerships.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders including Culinary, Sensory, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, R&D and Client Services to align customer needs with Griffith's capabilities and innovation pipeline.
  • Coordinates plant audits, training seminars, client presentations, plant trials, plant tours, and sensory evaluation requests.
  • Represents Griffith Foods Canada at trade shows, conferences, conventions, sales meetings and training course.
  • Manages negotiations with clients and customers regarding pricing, cost delivery and special promotions.
  • Lead sales planning, forecasting, and pipeline management. Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to manage accounts, track performance, and support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer files utilizing CRM.
  • Prepare and submit business analysis and business reports.
  • Participate and contribute to new development projects, new products, and technologies.
  • Contribute actionable insights and customer-focused strategies to the annual Sales & Marketing planning process. Align plans with both market trends and Griffith's long-term goals.

The Bilingual Account Director position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the food industry within Protein Processor or Industrial Sales.
  • Have demonstrated success in building and growing strategic customer relationships.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required (business, marketing, or related field is preferred).
  • Fluent skill level with French is mandatory.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Experience working remotely within an assigned territory
  • Extensive understanding of top line sales and profitability.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with a proven ability to negotiate, influence decisions and manage complex customer needs.
  • Knowledge of bottom-up budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
