PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Purchasing Operations Reporting Analyst is responsible for providing metrics to Purchasing Ops Leadership to aid in measuring objectives to goal and identifying areas of improvement. Additionally, responsible for the creation, updating, and maintenance of all tools that support the Purchasing Operations functions.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, test, and analyze reports to measure Purchasing Ops performance.
- Support, produce, and distribute Purchasing Ops departmental reporting.
- Ensure reporting consistency amongst Purchasing Ops.
- Work with Purchasing Ops Leadership and internal partners to ensure all tools needed to support the operation are updated, maintained, and enhanced/improved as needed.
- Work with Purchasing Ops Leadership to ensure departmental goals are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with Purchasing Ops to ensure all reporting needs are met.
- Collaborate with Purchasing Ops Executive Management to provide the tools to support communication to all levels.
- Provide support for unique department reporting needs and ad hoc reporting as required.
- Analyze report results and be able to provide trends, mark targets, provide alerts, and build forecasts to support management decision making.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and provide analysis to identify root causes and assist in decision making.
- Maintain Critical Metrics Visual Management for Purchasing Ops.
- Supports Purchasing Ops Leaders as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated proficiency with relevant reporting systems and applications preferred. For example: SAP, MS Office Suite, Access, and others.
- Ability to consistently meet reporting deadlines.
- English proficiency, both written and verbal, required.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to translate information requests into practical outputs.
