Radiology Supervisor - CT Imaging
Full Time, Days
Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.
Position Summary
The CT Imaging Supervisor supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the Good Samaritan Medical Center facility, including scheduling staff, inventory control, and direct and indirect patient care needs to ensure successful completion of requested scans. Interviews, trains and evaluates staff. Performs CT studies as indicated by established protocols and manufacturer specifications. Obtains optimal diagnostic quality imaging utilizing ALARA principals. Verifies all studies are read in a timely manner. Rotates call schedule as needed. Complies with American College of Radiology protocol standards for CT imaging. Documents and reviews ALARA dose within CT Scan Dose Reports, reviews CT lung screening patients/parameters, and maintains radiology equipment within preventative maintenance guidelines. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an ARRT Radiology and CT certified technologist in an acute care setting
- License: Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
- Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- ARRT CT Certification
- Current CPR (BCLS) certification
Preferred Requirements
- Experience: Performing CT and radiography imaging procedures.

- Supervises, coordinates schedules, interviews, trains and evaluates staff.
- Assures correct patient information on requests, reports and PACS.
- Equipment is maintained in good working order.
- Prepares and administers contrast media under the direction of the physician.
- Performs a variety of diagnostic CT and radiography procedures.
