RESPONSIBILITIES
About the role:
The role of the Senior Product Manager - CIAM at GM Financial is critical in driving innovation and delivering secure, seamless identity experiences across B2C and B2B channels. Reporting to the VP CIAM Technology, you will define and lead the execution of a roadmap focused on authentication, authorization, consent management, and identity lifecycle capabilities that exceed customer expectations while meeting business objectives and regulatory requirements.
As a collaborative team player, you will work closely with developers, UX designers, security and compliance teams, marketers, analytics teams, and operations leaders to ensure the success of the CIAM product portfolio. Your expertise in digital identity and access management will make you a recognized advocate for putting the customer at the center of everything we do.
In your role as Senior Product Manager - CIAM, you will own the CIAM product vision and roadmap, aligning with business goals and compliance standards. Gather and prioritize requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver features such as MFA, social login, SSO, identity federation, and consent management. Monitor adoption and performance metrics, partnering with analytics teams to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement. Champion customer experience, balancing usability with security and regulatory compliance. Your leadership will accelerate GM Financial's CIAM capabilities, ensuring secure, frictionless experiences for customers across all digital channels.

- Understand and articulate the vision, strategic priorities and goals of the organization, translating them into a roadmap of features and enhancements that provide remarkable customer experiences.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support for CIAM strategies for B2B and B2C channels, driving secure and seamless identity experiences through stewardship, influence, motivation, and change leadership.
- Lead the high-level prioritization of initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business results.
- Lead planning for the future direction of CIAM capabilities and features by combining customer identity needs and insights with quantifiable business cases to establish product roadmaps and strategies that are built on consensus and buy-in from senior leadership.
- Lead and nurture a team of direct and/or indirect team members charged with implementing the product roadmap.
- Continually monitor competitors and industry developments.
- Deep understanding of and experience in product management and software product lifecycle in an agile environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), cross-collaboration and team skills.
- Ability to dive into performance measurements with teams to help optimize and find key insights into performance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to synthesize analytic results into relevant and strategic recommendations.
- Ability to understand and explain complex issues and clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high level.
- Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent skills creating and managing a roadmap of features and enhancements.
- Conversational AI and contact center experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
- 4-7 years' experience as a Product Owner/Manager on an Agile Scrum Team required
- 2-4 years Leadership experience required
Licenses/Certifications:
- Agile Certifications required
