RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Salesforce SDE is a key member of an Agile Scrum team, contributing across the full development lifecycle. While team members may have areas of specialization, adaptability and cross-functional collaboration are essential to meet delivery goals.
This role emphasizes DevSecOps practices, cloud-native development, and a strong focus on quality. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, curious, and innovative engineer with a passion for leveraging modern cloud technologies to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce and cloud-based solutions.
- Guide and mentor team members, while collaborating across teams and with external partners.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and drive proof of concepts.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and propose their application to future projects.
- Partner with Architecture to align on technical direction and delivery sequencing.
- Communicate risks, issues, and progress to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on uptime and scalability.
Technical Leadership:
- Deliver features across web, mobile, APIs, and data platforms.
- Champion cloud adoption and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
- Promote code quality through peer reviews and test-driven development.
- Foster a production-first mindset and continuous improvement in Agile practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you an ideal candidate?
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field; and/or commensurate experience preferred
- 4-6 years Salesforce development experience required
- Software development expertise in either C# - Extensive experience with Cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS and native toolsets such as Azure ARM Templates, Terraform.
- Experience in architecture and design. - Ability to implement features across mobile, web, and API service levels as applicable to the product team. - Proficient at designing, building, and optimizing automated pipelines with automated testing and automated security controls.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with demonstrated success leading improvements. - Strong background with source control management systems (GIT ; Build Systems (Maven, Gradle, Webpack); Code Quality (Sonar); Artifact Repository Managers (Artifactory), - CICD with Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Brings passion and enthusiasm to the team; leads by example. We Also Use the Following Tools: - Low-code environments: Logic Apps, Outsystems - Enterprise Service Bus: Tibco BusinessWorks.
- Pipeline Automation: Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, Chef, Octopus. - Code Scanning: SonarQube, Checkmarx. - Mobile: Xamarin.iOS, Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.Forms
- UI: Angular, Javascript, CSS, Node.js, ASP.NET MVC - Scripting: Powershell, Bash. - Database: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL. - Test Automation: Xamarin.UITest, Specflow, DevTest, Selenium, Test Data Manager, Postman, Maven, TestNG, JMeter Experience
