Why Enterprise Architecture
The Enterprise Architecture (EA) team plays a critical role in aligning technical strategies with business goals, optimizing the IT landscape at GMF, and ensuring that all technology initiatives contribute are high quality. EA enables efficient scalable and innovative solutions that drive value and competitive advantage for GMF. Enterprise Architecture is part of Global Architecture that drives North Star Architecture, GMF's strategic compass aligning technology with the company's future.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support end-to-end development, integration, testing, and deployment of the GenAI assistant.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to implement scalable AI solutions.
- Engage in meetings and workshops to understand enterprise architecture practices.
- Strong analytical skills and eagerness to learn;
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Foundational programming experience (e.g., Python, Java, C#) ;
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills used in the Project:
Software Engineering and DevOps fundamentals; AI integration and chatbot development; Enterprise architecture modeling; and governance; Collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Azure Cloud knowledge; Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Prompt engineering, data processing, PII detection, Git, Azure CLI, Postman;
SPA, Teams Bot Framework; Python, FastAPI,, ETL, VS Code, Teams Dev Tools, SharePoint, IaC;
Okta SSO, RBAC, Key Vault, audit logging; Docker, containerization , CI/CD, rollback, DR planning;
Unit/integration/E2E/accessibility testing, coverage analysis.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; major with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship.
- Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA.
- Junior or Senior classification preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required.
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
- Previous internships are considered a plus.
