• Create and Document Logical Data Integration (ETL) Strategies for Data Flows between disparate Source/Target Systems and the Enterprise Data Lakehouse
• Creation of ETL design specifications and documentation needed for the proper loading of the data.
• Creation and modification of appropriate DDL for Database Structures.
• Work closely with Senior Data Architects, Database Administrators and Data Warehouse ETL experts resulting in effective Data Driven Solutions
• Participating in Data Architecture and Data Modeling activities associated with the design and proliferation of the GMF Enterprise Data Lakehouse
• Participating in the creation of new and enforcement of existing Data Management/Governance Principles and Best Practices
• Assist in the creation and dissemination of Enterprise Meta-Data pertaining to the Data Lakehouse.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and End Users to understand and help develop functional specifications
• Interact and coordinate with 3rd Party Vendors
• Through past experience and self-study, formulate well thought-out and innovative data Driven Solutions which are consistent with GMF Enterprise Data Strategic Vision

• Knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
• Basic understanding of Data Modeling.
• Creation or usage of Data Models and ETL Design Specifications
• Creation or usage of Dimensional Models (STAR Schema, Kimball, Inmon)
• Strong in the use of Microsoft Office software including strong ability to analyze data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
• Strong people skills including the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Must be a self-starter and able to manage the investigations function with minimal supervision
• Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university (Computer Science or related field) with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship Required
