As a senior-level Data Engineer III, you will design and implement sophisticated data pipelines and platforms that power analytics across the organization. You'll drive engineering excellence through deep technical expertise, hands-on development, and a strong understanding of modern data architectures. This role works independently on complex challenges, partners with cross-functional teams, and contributes to the evolution of our data engineering standards and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What makes you an ideal candidate:

  • Architect, build, and maintain advanced ETL/ELT pipelines and large-scale data workflows
  • Design high-performance, scalable data models optimized for both operational and analytical use
  • Implement rigorous data quality frameworks, validation processes, and monitoring mechanisms
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise data solutions
  • Lead technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning across distributed system
  • Strengthen data security, access controls, and governance practices within modern cloud environments
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and architectural guidance for long-term scalability


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
  • 4-6 years of progressive experience in data engineering or a closely related field required.
  • Significant hands-on experience supporting large-scale, distributed data environments
  • Practical experience with Big Data technologies such as Databricks, Spark, or Delta Lake
  • 0-2 years of experience with Azure or cloud-based data engineering solutions
  • Track record of delivering complex ETL/ELT solutions in production environments
  • Proven ability to optimize data models, storage layers, and compute performance
  • Strong background implementing data quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks
  • Proficient with SQL, Python, and cloud-native engineering practices
  • Experience contributing to cross-functional projects and influencing technical decisions
