What impact you'll make

As a Performance Analyst (PBA), you will monitor and optimize wind turbine performance, ensuring accurate classification of downtime events and validating performance-based availability calculations. You will serve as a critical link between field technicians, site operations, and stakeholders, delivering reliable reporting and actionable insights to both internal teams and external customers, contributing directly to the successful execution of offshore wind projects.

  • Monitor and follow up on wind turbine operating status on a regular basis.
  • Gather detailed information from the field regarding downtime incidents, root causes, and corrective actions performed on turbines.
  • Accurately classify downtime and operational periods by assigning the correct IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) category.
  • Validate availability periods to ensure reporting accuracy and compliance.
  • Verify and confirm the accuracy of performance and availability calculations.
  • Provide timely reporting support to the site operations team as needed.
  • Prepare, finalize, and deliver PBA reports to both GE internal stakeholders and final customers.
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, ensuring traceability, accuracy, and consistency across reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting processes.

What you'll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Degree or diploma in any Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or an equivalent technical qualification
  • Experience in power generation or data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical information.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technicians, operations, and customers while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Fluency in Eglish (oral and written) is required. Fluency in Spanish is desirable.
