Job Description Summary

The Warehouse Manager oversees daily warehousing and inventory control activities for the distribution center. This position is responsible for delivering world class customer service to internal customers at Aero Alliance as well as ensuring the highest possible standard of inventory accuracy. The Warehouse Manager supervises Aero Alliance warehouse associates on site and is expected to make sure there is compliance with all safety, quality, and human resource policies and procedures in place.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of hourly warehouse employees in the execution accumulation of parts and supermarket kitting.
  • Managing warehouse activities including materials receipt, put away and movement of materials within the site.
  • Support cycle count and physical inventory activities and maintain associated reporting and external communication.
  • Develop and maintain warehouse operations dashboard reporting and KPI's in alignment with Aero Alliance strategic goals.
  • Lead inventory related kaizens and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure efficient warehouse layout and material flow.

  • Evaluate and make recommendations on technology improvements.
  • Support review of discrepant material and other exceptions processes.
  • Implement process improvements, overseeing budgets, resources and assisting with strategic projects under the guidance of senior managers.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing levels through effective recruitment, training and scheduling to meet productivity needs and performance expectations.
  • Develop team members through coaching conversations and follow-ups, supporting their growth and success.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Will lead large projects with risks and resource requirements.
  • Establish and maintain communication tools and structure to ensure team understands and delivers on schedule targets.
  • Unyielding commitment to Aero Alliance principles of Compliance and Integrity.
  • Foster a culture centered on Safety and Quality.
  • Strong leadership, oral and written communication skills.
  • Perform any other job duties as assigned by the Gate Leader to support operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing/supply chain and at least 4 years of leadership/supervisor experience.
  • Experience in Warehouse Operations including ordering picking, issuing, material handling, storing, cycle counting, and setting stocking levels.
  • Experience supporting inventory control processes (cycle counting, physical inventories).
  • Experience in Shop Operations/Production Scheduling/Material Planning.

  • Advanced experience in manufacturing or assembly and production supervision

  • Experience working in a high-paced Operations environment.
  • Proven success in applying Lean Manufacturing principles and driving process improvements on the shop floor.

  • Ability to work Overtime on weekends (as needed) by the business to support warehouse.
  • Strong computer skills / MS Excel and MS Word.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,700.00 and $152,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: ineligible.
