Test Facility Technician

• Teamwork& Improvement: Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams; support continuous improvement initiatives.

• MechanicalAssembly: Move, align, assemble, disassemble, and reassemble mechanical and rotating equipment using material-handling tools.

• GeneralSupport: Maintain shop organization and assist with lifting, prep, and basic mechanical tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 1-3 years of mechanical, maintenance, or automotive experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation

• Position is 100% onsite at the GE Repair Center in Richmond, VA

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

• Must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or rotating shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role

• Comfortable working around large rotating equipment, hand tools, propane/acetylene torches, and lifting devices, measuring equipment

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay Transparency:

The base hourly pay range for this position is $25.25/hr - $31.50/hr plus $2.00 shift differential. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
